Porsche and Pixar studio have joined forces and are creating a road equivalent of Sally from the legendary animation “Cars”. All this for a good cause.
Most of us have probably seen “Cars”. This brilliant animation from 2006 won hearts of people all over the world and lived to see three parts altogether. The Pixar studio responsible for this animation has joined forces with Porsche to help children affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Porsche decided to replicate Sally, one of the main characters in the film, which was based on a Porsche 911 Carrera. The car modeled after Sally will be produced at the Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen, while the charity auction will be handled by acclaimed auction house RM Sotheby’s.
