Android operating system created by Google very quickly became a giant of the smartphone world. Will it conquer the automotive market in a similar way?

Android has conquered our hearts primarily thanks to its openness and the possibility of free use within the cell phone service. This makes Android a tough challenge for the competing iOS system.

With the introduction of widespread displays on the dashboards of new cars, there was an opportunity for Google to dominate the automotive market as well. For this reason, a dedicated version of Android Automotive has been created.

Android Automotive will allow smart connectivity to car features that are slowly becoming standard on every new model. What’s more, the popular Google Maps app will come directly to our cars at no additional cost.
